It’s also a time for celebrating several things that stave off the winter doldrums: Groundhog Day, Valentine’s Day, Presidents’ Day, Black History Month, Chinese New Year, and Mardi Gras. With all that in mind, what better way to celebrate than to share a few links (and a free ebook!) on some of those subjects today.
First, here’s a list of brand new picture books for Valentine’s Day on one of my favorite sites about reading, Brightly.
Second, here’s a sweet children’s ebook for Valentine’s Day to read with your child this month, by author and illustrator, Sally Huss. It’s FREE today and tomorrrow (Feb. 1-2, 2018) so go and get it before the deal is gone!
Finally today, here’s a list of picture books about Black History Month.
